Jewelry Care Guide: How to Care for and Restore Your Charmora Jewelry

Shine Restoration: It is common for jewelry to lose its shine over time due to exposure to outside elements and contact with substances like fragrances, lotions, and body oils. At Charmora, we provide easy and effective solutions to restore most of the jewelry you receive from us, ensuring its long-lasting beauty.

*Please note: that our cleaning methods are entirely harmless and highly effective.

For Cleaning Jewelry WITHOUT Engravings: You will need the following items:

  • Clean cotton cloth or pads
  • Lukewarm water in a container

Follow these steps:

  1. Submerge the jewelry in lukewarm water.
  2. Let the item sit for about five minutes.
  3. Gently and thoroughly wipe and dry the item using a cotton cloth or similar material.

For Cleaning Jewelry WITH Engravings: If your jewelry has engravings, it is important not to submerge it in water. Instead, follow these steps:

  1. Gently but thoroughly wipe the item using a dampened cotton cloth or similar material. This method helps preserve the condition of your engravings.

IMPORTANT: Please note we cannot guarantee a positive reaction with impure metals.

Excessive exposure to light, air, and moisture can make the shiny finish of your jewelry appear dull or tarnished. Fortunately, cleaning your jewelry doesn't have to be tedious. By using common household ingredients such as salt and baking soda, you can easily restore shine and remove tarnish from your jewelry.

How to Naturally Clean Silver & Steel (pure metals only): Cleaning silver with a combination of baking soda, salt, and aluminum foil is typically effective for small and large silver pieces.

Follow these steps:

  1. Line a bowl with aluminum foil, making sure it covers the entire surface.
  2. Fill the bowl with boiling water.
  3. Add 1/4 cup of baking soda and two teaspoons of kosher salt to the water and stir until bubbles form.
  4. Carefully place the silver jewelry into the bowl, allowing it to sit for five minutes.
  5. Once cool, remove the item and dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth.

And voila! Your Charmora jewelry will look as good as new!

We hope these methods have helped restore the beauty of your Charmora jewelry.
